Validate ideas with customers before a single line of code is written.
As AI accelerates product development, the risk isn’t just moving too slowly – it’s building the wrong thing faster. Products that look impressive but don’t address real customer needs can cost millions in wasted investment, time, and effort. Deutsche Telekom’s Experience Innovation Platform (XIT) brings ideas together in one place, enabling teams to validate use cases with customers and experts before development begins. By helping teams identify and prioritize the ideas that matter most, XIT supports better-informed decisions, reduces the risk of wasted investment, and helps turn promising ideas into products customers truly value.
Create with ease
XIT makes use case creation fast and intuitive. Its standardized data format – now Telekom’s AI-ready model for use cases – enables anyone to turn raw ideas into clear, compelling customer journeys with a single click. Integrated AI structures each idea from the customer’s perspective, while AI Personas help remove jargon, refine tone, and tailor the experience to different target audiences before validation with real customers and experts. This shared foundation has enabled XIT to build Telekom’s largest and fastest-growing use case database.
Validate at speed
XIT Validation Manager enables product teams to validate use cases directly with Telekom customers and internal experts. Teams can reach target users across Telekom’s markets and gather measurable feedback on customer impact and implementation effort all within a week.
More than 7,500 participants have used XIT to test use cases, providing real-world feedback that helps teams continuously improve the user experience. In 2025, 94% of new use cases were validated through XIT, making early validation an established part of Telekom’s product innovation process.
Focus on what matters
XIT keeps hype from driving product decisions. Validated results are mapped on an impact-and-effort heatmap and planning board, helping teams identify quick wins, major bets, and gaps in the customer journey. Integrated LLM capabilities help teams analyze outcomes to prioritize impact, avoid wasted effort, and make confident decisions fast. By grounding priorities in real customer feedback, XIT brings transparency to decision-making and helps teams align without slowing innovation.
Beyond compliance
XIT makes customer validation accessible, affordable, and fast. It meets Telekom’s accessibility standards and has been approved by the Group Works Council – but it goes further than compliance alone.
Scene Composer makes visualization accessible to everyone, regardless of role or experience. Its diverse image library represents people with disabilities, older adults, and many other real-world experiences, helping teams explore and refine ideas with inclusion in mind.
XIT also connects teams with real target users outside Telekom, delivering validation results within a week at low cost. By breaking down disciplinary silos, it enables people at every level – from junior designers to lead product managers – to collaborate on product strategy grounded in validated use cases. With XIT, inclusion and accessibility aren’t afterthoughts. They’re built in from the start.
